Master Urban Aquaponics and Food Sovereignty

In a world facing compounding environmental and economic crises, true security begins with what’s on your plate. Urban Aquaponics is an online training platform that helps urban communities, families, and individuals achieve food sovereignty.

Through step-by-step e-learning courses, we teach you how to leverage aquaponics to grow high-yield, organic produce and protein in small urban spaces. Take control of your food supply, build resilience, and nourish your community from the ground up. Join us today to start your journey toward sustainable, self-sufficient food production.

Achieve Food Sovereignty and Sustainability

Our Mission
We were established to support vulnerable members of our local community through sustainable agriculture, skill-building, and holistic care. We focus on three core pillars:

1. Employability & Skills Training: Helping individuals gain confidence, qualifications, and practical work experience to transform their prospects.

2. Food Security & Alleviation of Food Poverty: Providing fresh, nutrient-dense produce and fish directly to those who need it most.

3. Safe Community Spaces: Creating welcoming environments that foster friendship, social integration, and support for all community members, including refugees and isolated individuals.

Master Urban Aquaponics

How It Works: Sustainable Indoor Aquaponics – At the heart of our model is aquaponics, a circular agricultural system that combines freshwater fish farming (aquaculture) with soil-free plant cultivation (hydroponics).

●Natural Nutrient Cycle: Fish live in large indoor tanks, producing natural waste.
Beneficial microorganisms break this waste down into vital plant nutrients (nitrates).

●Biological Filtration: Plants absorb these nutrients through their roots, filtering and
purifying the water before it recirculates cleanly back to the fish tanks.

●Closed-Loop Efficiency: By balancing fish, plant life, and beneficial bacteria, we use up
to 90% less water than conventional farming, creating zero-waste food production
indoors.

Drive Food Sovereignty

By combining off-grid technology with therapeutic growing environments, we work directly in areas affected by poverty and social inequality to:

●Alleviate Food Poverty: Supply fresh fruit, vegetables, and protein to local food banks
and community fridges, reducing reliance on expensive supermarket produce.

●Empower Vulnerable Individuals: Offer hands-on training, personal development, and pathways into paid employment for those facing barriers to work.

●Promote Mental Health & Wellbeing: Provide a safe, therapeutic space that builds
connection, reduces social isolation, and gives people purposeful work.

●Support Health & Education: Share fresh food preparation skills and offer guidance on
home-growing setups to encourage long-term food independence.

Off-Grid Innovation & Environmental Sustainability

Our facility operates as a living demonstration of regenerative design and total energy autonomy:

● 100% Off-Grid Power: Hybrid solar panels and micro-wind turbines power our
circulation pumps, aeration systems, and environmental controls without relying on
municipal utilities.

● Zero Food Miles: Fresh produce and fish are grown and distributed locally, eliminating
the carbon footprint of long-distance transport and plastic packaging.

● Triple-Revenue Sustainability: To ensure our charitable work is financially
self-sustaining, we generate income through:

  1. Commercial sale of organic produce and fish
  2. Production of natural bio-fertilisers
  3. Aquaponics build consultancy services
